i always get stressed when given responsibility for an event or a situation that is already kind of messed up. this sucks and sometimes my stress can be counter-productive. this was the case on wednesday when i got a call from eric asking me to do the carrie nations\/k10 show. i didn’t have a problem doing it, but it’s difficult because eric and my band members don’t get along so well which puts me in an akward place. <\/p>\n
we moved the show to the hag collective which made things a bit more simple. when i called about that to make sure it was ok, i found that my earlier call to ask whether we could cook for the bands there was already being taken care of by the hags and the hags’ men’s auxilary (jonnie + brian).<\/p>\n
the bands showed up and it was awesome to see so many people that i really like and to meet new awesome people. there were the carrie nations, the k10 prospect, some kids who had come up with the k10 prospect who i had met at the weakerthans show in cincinatti and some kids from asheville in a metal twinged hardcore band called resurrectum who hopped on the show, it was good times.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
